Let's create space for your healing, hope, and happiness.
Kelly Huggins, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Grief Therapist
You remember a time when feeling depressed, insecure and lonely weren't the "norm"... but those days feel like a distant memory. Feelings of loss, uncertainty and deep sadness don't seem to stop. Don't you wish you knew how to change that?
You've come to the right place.
I'm Kelly and I help adults just like you: ones who have experienced loss and hurt and want to feel more confident and content. Someone who wants to live a life that is rich with meaning and purpose. Someone who wants to heal their hurts and hopes for a peaceful future when they can experience joy and love again, but just need the right support to get there.
I help my clients find the confidence, happiness and fulfillment with their life by equipping them with the tools they need to better understand their grief and overwhelming feelings so that they can feel more confident to readjust to their new reality.
Many of today's solutions for loss are to "move on" or "get over it" or "be positive", which is so unhelpful and unrealistic. These platitudes lead so many to feel alone, depressed and unsure how to actually feel better. I know that your circumstances are unique, so every step we take is tailored to your loss and always with your goals in mind.
First, we'll examine your loss and how it's impacting your life. Then, we will work on helping you to develop a greater ability to manage your thoughts and feelings. Through our work together you'll be equipped to cope with difficult feelings and make decisions on how to live that are most aligned with your values.
I am dedicated to helping people live meaningful and joyfilled lives.
My training in grief counseling means I have the expertise you need and deserve when rebuilding your life after a loss. But at the end of the day, you want to know you're working with someone who "gets" what it means to be grieving a significant loss and struggling to find peace and a way forward.
I get it because I have devoted my career to working with grievers of all kinds of loss. I know how hard it can be to feel so lost, alone and sad. So when we work together, you won't just get a trained therapist. You'll get someone who truly understands what you're going through.
